Last Saturday, Vera and I spent a beautiful day together - exploring Lauritzen Gardens, having lunch, and canning jam all afternoon (canning post to come soon!). This was the lunch place Vera suggested and we were sure in for a treat!
I love very traditional mexican cuisine and we are lucky in Omaha to have a very cultural hub of mexican cuisine in South Omaha. I honestly can't choose which one is my favorite - there are so many I love for all different things. But this place gets best taco and best price!!

Complimentary fresh homemade corn tortilla chips and cheesy bean dip - what more could you ask for?
I ordered ground beef tacos (without lettuce). That's a HUGE amount of food!
See those delicious homemade corn tortillas? Once you've had fresh tortillas, it's hard to go back. I could tell these were fresh pressed. Honestly, I could just sit and eat good homemade corn tortillas for an entire meal - that's how freakin amazing they taste!
I loved how messy and amazing this was - spicy green sauce oozing all over - sooooo delicious.
No one likes to take the last chip.... and we were both so full we didn't even try!
Guess what?! My three tacos cost $6.00 - yes SIX bucks! I was literally full the rest of the day. Best tacos and bonus, best price!
I have been thinking about this place daily since we went.... I can't WAIT to go back!
