Lemon Fresh:: save those lemons!
I use lemons quite frequently but I just can't seem to throw them away. After juicing or removing the zest, I toss the rest of the lemon into a jar and into the freezer.
They will keep forever (I assume).
Let them thaw out on the counter for an hour or so...
one:: use as a scrubber for dishes and general cleaning
two:: run down the garbage disposal for a clean fresh scent
three:: use with hot water and vinegar for the best bath room cleaner
four:: add to simmering water with lavender for springy room fragrance
five:: rub along the cracks in your counters to deter ants
six:: run them through your dishwasher, yes I've done this and it cleans everything!
I'm sure there are many other uses, lemons are a super fruit!
